This was a suburban in-fill redevelopment project in the core of Towson, Maryland. A 1950’s garden style apartment community containing 60 apartments on 3.4 acres was acquired and redeveloped with 264 new luxury mid rise apartment homes wrapped around a structured parking garage. This project represented the first new apartment homes in Towson, MD in over 25 years and has subsequently been followed by 2000 + apartment homes developed by others. We take pride in being the first to recognize this significantly underserved housing market and having the foresight and skills to capitalize on its potential. Upon achieving a significant creation in value and very favorable seller market conditions, this property was subsequently sold to an institutional purchaser.
